When I woke up today, I was so excited to get my hair ready for the day. Mainly because the day before I noticed some growth. Not much, but a decent amount to make me feel that my locs were locking up nicely and growing! As I started with a spritz of water and some amazing Black Jamaican Castor Oil, everything seemed to be starting out just right. Then as I tried to style it, nothing seemed to work. Aaah…Seriously, I tried everything. Such a bummer. I was ready to start complaining then I remembered how important patience is when dealing with any hair type especially natural hair, locked or loose. There are good days and bad days.
Patience is all you need at moments like that. Just take a breather and think things through. So I did just that. I put in a few pins, put it into a simple style I saw on Instagram and I was ready to go.
Patience is the key. Don’t give up.
